Laurelhurst

Laurelhurst Park's land was bought in 1909 from the estate of William S. Ladd, and in 1911 the city bought 30 of those acres, including a spring-fed pond. Superintendent Emanuel Mische designed it in 1912. The pond once hosted the Rose Festival Queen's Coronation on floating boats and decorated rafts.
